Define one initial journey, beyond a feature list.
An application might support booking, field assignments or entering a report. Describe an operation from start to finish: users, incoming data, approvals and the expected result. Pricing also depends on roles, data migration and tools to connect. Screen count alone does not define complexity. For a business in Guinea or Africa, start with a journey that the people involved can actually test.
Choose Android, iOS or a web application.
Identify users’ actual devices and required capabilities such as cameras, notifications, location or field use. Browser access may suit a journey where installation provides no necessary benefit. Android and iOS are tested separately. The initial KorbonLabs mobile offer starts with one platform, Android or iOS, one main journey and up to eight screens. A second platform and additional features are discussed and priced separately.
Plan what happens when connectivity drops.
Specify what must remain readable, what can be entered and what waits for server confirmation. Test reconnection, two edits to one record and account sign-out. Local storage, synchronisation and conflict handling add work and are not automatically included in the starting price. Observe actual connectivity with the users concerned.
Separate development, publication and operating costs.
The initial budget covers the selected design, development and testing scope. Clarify publication accounts, fees, presentation materials and store requirements. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Domain, server hosting, subscriptions, APIs, notifications and maintenance may incur recurring costs. Ask who owns accounts and manages ongoing care.
- Launch: journey, initial platform, screens, tests and onboarding.
- External services: available integrations, required accounts and usage costs.
- Operations: hosting, backups, maintenance and separate changes.
Use a starting price as a reference, then request a proposal.
The catalogue below uses published prices rather than a universal application price. Reference amounts are in GNF; USD and XOF conversions are indicative. The proposal confirms currency, options and conditions. Provide sample data, the priority journey, devices and acceptance criteria. A prototype may help resolve uncertainty before building further. Cost reductions and time savings must not be promised without measurement.
Gather these for our first conversation.
- Country and intended users
- One journey and expected result
- Initial platform and test devices
- Operations required without connectivity
- Existing tools, data and accounts
- Launch budget, ongoing costs and the approving person
